Crystal Mountain Marriage Proposal

Michael wanted to propose on top of a mountain, but somewhere easily accessible. While that might sound like a tall order, in Washington, it’s completely possible. After going over a few location ideas, he chose Crystal Mountain.

On the day of, Michael and I acknowledged one another with subtle nods before boarding they boarded the gondola. I hopped into the one right behind them.

At the top, you get sweeping views of Mount Rainier and the surrounding Cascade mountains. Michael found a quiet spot and surprised Tifera by getting down on one knee.

Capturing the moment was especially important to Michael. Tifera’s family lives overseas and he wanted her to be able to share the moment with them. Tifera loved the gesture, and admitted she expected a proposal over dinner, not something this grand.

Congrats again Michael and Tifera!
