Deception Pass State Park Surprise Marriage Proposal
Deception Pass is one of the most stunning places to explore in Washington State. It's known for dramatic cliffs, scenic beaches, lush forests, and the iconic Deception Pass Bridge. It has the perfect location – not too far from the North Cascades National Park, near the tulip fields of Mount Vernon, and by ferries to the San Juan Islands and Olympic Peninsula.
Hoh Rainforest Roadside Elopement
It’s not every day you can have your first dance in the middle of a popular road, but that’s exactly what Tori and Eddy did. Due to a washout in the road, access to the Hoh Rainforest was closed beyond a certain point. They took advantage of the empty stretch leading to the famous Hall of Mosses and eloped right on the road, free of the usual crowds and traffic.

When I think of the Olympic National Park’s rugged coast, Ruby Beach is the first place that comes to mind. It’s easily accessible, has dramatic sea stacks, tide pools, driftwood, and the most iconic sunsets. In fact, I would go as far as to say it’s Washington’s most beautiful beach.
North Cascades Hiking Elopement
Malinda and Greg were so excited to be able to share their love of traveling with their families for their elopement. From Michigan, it was Washington’s grand mountains that drew them to the Pacific Northwest. After debating mountaintop ceremony locations all over Washington, they loved the dramatic peaks of the Mt. Baker Wilderness the most.
